The woofer features a durable poly cone and rubber surround so it can hold up to the elements, and is carefully gasketed to keep critters and moisture out.The same attention to detail has been applied to the specially treated, one-inch soft dome tweeter which was designed to sound great, and hold up to the sun and the weather at the same time. Like all NHT speakers, the O2 is a sealed, acoustic suspension design so there are no ports or vents for bugs and moisture to get in. This sealed design also allows the O2 to produce deep, clean bass at very high levels with very low distortion. Mounting the O2 is a breeze thanks to its integrated “C-Clamp” style bracket. Simply attach the bracket to your exterior wall, and us the large thumbscrews to lock the O2 in just the right position. If you'd prefer a 360-degree pivoting mount such as the Omnimount 10.0, a threaded insert is also provided.
