As SpeakerCraft continues to blend performance and aesthetics in audio reproduction, we are always looking for clever and innovative advancements. Taking the AIM series one step further, we have now created a true bridge between flush-mount and cabinet loudspeaker technology. Beginning flush in the ceiling, TIME speakers automatically drop into the room triggered by an infrared signal, contact closure, RS232 or signal sensing control. The result is a speaker system that is almost invisible until it is deployed. The speakers return to their original flush position when the system is turned off.

The full-size models, which feature similar drivers and performance to the AIM 8 series, not only pivot to 15, 30, or 45-degree angles but also rotate 285 degrees. With three individual presets for each speaker, the system can be used in multiple music and theater situations with varying seating positions. Using advanced micro-motor technology the operation of the speakers is whisper quiet. The TIME Mini series uses smaller drivers and therefore requires a smaller physical footprint. The speakers drop into the room at a fixed angle and require the installer to manually rotate them to the desired position during setup. Although almost every speaker benefits from the use of a subwoofer, it is strongly recommended when designing a system with the TIME Mini series. To simplify this process, the system controller features a dedicated 150-watt subwoofer amplifier designed to power the 8-inch in-wall AIM Cinema Sub. The TIME series is yet another opportunity to provide you with tremendous sound quality without sacrificing a single square foot of living space.
